About me
I oppose the war in Ukraine because it results in war crimes and a humanitarian crisis, and causes the destruction of lives, infrastructure, and societies. I oppose war because it represents a failure to resolve conflicts without violence.
I am academic with research interests spanning the digitalisation of education, educational inequality, and inequality in the labour market.
Previously, I worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the International Laboratory for the Analysis of Economic Reforms at HSE University and as a Research Associate at the School of Education at the University of Strathclyde, UK on the “Understanding School Attendance, Education, and Labour Market Outcomes” project.
I hold a PhD in Educational Research from Lancaster University, awarded in 2021. I also hold a BS in Economics and Management from Saint Petersburg University of Civil Aviation, a MSc in Economics from Lancaster University.
